About Us
My name is Beb Bruce I am an award winning classically trained pastry chef with a wealth of experience of over 40 years. With my husband Eric Bruce I previously owned Restaurant Severn Ironbridge and the Navigation Inn Oswestry both of which achieved 2AA rosettes for culinary excellence. I also headed the pastry department at the Belfry Hotel (Ryder Cup Venue) Sutton Coldfield and also taught pastry for 12 years at FE colleges.
I now want to share with you my long life passion and I am offering patisserie masterclasses.
They will take place in my large and well - equipped kitchen at my home in Cressage, Shrewsbury. Set near the Shropshire Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty and close to the historical market town of Much Wenlock and industrial town of Ironbridge (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

"My name is Nieves Bruce (but everyone calls me Beb). I am an award winning, classically trained pastry chef with a wealth of experience of over 40 years. With my husband Eric Bruce, I previously owned Restaurant Severn Ironbridge and the Navigation Inn Oswestry, both of which achieved 2AA rosettes for culinary excellence. I have also taught pastry for12 years at FE colleges, equipping me with the skills and experience needed to teach.
Masterclasses take place in my large and well - equipped kitchen at my country home, located in Cressage, near Shrewsbury and Telford.
Anyone who knows me will tell you how much I love my garden. I enjoy growing my own fruit and vegetables and taking care of my chickens and ducks. Needless to say I love using my own fruit, jams, chutneys and eggs whenever I can.
I offer a wide range of courses which are flexible to your needs and interests. Masterclasses are personal, being aimed at groups of just 4 people, and are suitable for a range of abilities.
